Samui's original Armani
If your waist is eight inches or so smaller than your chest, as any sartorial expert would tell you, you can waer just about any style from jeans to multiple pleats.
Such a body shape, of course, is a rarity. and for most of us with less-than-ideal size and shape, the difference between looking our best or worst is a matter of fabric, design, construction and fit.
Off-the-peg chlotes are generally made to fit all, says Mr. Peter Poudyels of Armani International Suits, one of samui's leading bespoke tailors. "but they hardly fit anyone perfectly, which is not the case with made-to-measure trousers, shirts or suits".

Armani International's team of top-caliber tailors has cut chlotes for BBC TV executives, international bankers, insurance execs and anunnummerable number of tourist takin advantage of Thailand's low labor cost that allows it to offer made-to-order chlotes at a fraction of their cost in the west.
As on of the biggest and best appointed tailors in that side of the island, Armani International Suits offers the latest styles in menswear and woman's wear and huge range of choices in materials incluting imported cashmere wool, Thai cashmere, Marino wool, Gabardine, Mohair wool, Satin silk, Thai silk, Egyptian and Oxfort cottons.
One need not to go to Samui to have that perfect-fitting suit from Armani International. Twice a year, a representative from the shop travels overseas, especially to Europe, to keep Armani International abreast of Western fashion trends.
He takes advantage of these trips to get orders from customers. Also, customers wishing to contact the shop by e-mail or post are welcome and samples, along with the finish items, can be send by courier or airmail. Measurements are kept in a computerized databank so repeat orders are served with dispatch.
